DisabledEnabled Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
DisabledEnabled is a free iOS app that helps people find places rated for accessibility. The app is designed to work offline and does not collect personal data.
Data Collection
DisabledEnabled does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store personal data on a server. The app does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, third-party login, or user accounts.
Location
If you grant location permission, DisabledEnabled uses your device location only to center the map and show accessible places near you. Your location is processed on your device and is not sent to DisabledEnabled, the developer, or any DisabledEnabled server. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Offline Place Data
The app includes an offline database of accessibility-rated places and categories. This place data is bundled with the app. Searching, filtering, and browsing this data does not require an account and does not create a user profile.
External Actions
Some place detail screens may let you open Apple Maps directions, call a phone number, open a website, or start an email. These actions are handled by iOS or the relevant third-party service. DisabledEnabled does not receive data from those external apps or services after you choose to open them.
Children's Privacy
DisabledEnabled is appropriate for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children or any other users.
App Store Privacy Summary
For App Store privacy labels, DisabledEnabled is described as Data Not Collected. Location is used only on device when permission is granted and is not collected.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
